Gallery artist Dean Baldwin was just named an award winner at The Toronto Urban Film Festival. His video piece "Intersection" won Best in Category, and 2nd place for the entire Festival.

(This is a catalogue series that is publishing Baldwin' massive photo project"Attempt at an Inventory" with over 40 pages dedicated to the project. Look in this week's NOW magazine for the Pamphlet on FOOD .There will also be an accompaning exhibition titled "EAT ME" at CONTACT gallery ( 80 Spadina, suite 310) opening on Saturday October 6th at 2PM. The exhibition runs until October 20, and gallery hours are Mon-Fri, 10-5pm. Also showing:artist Sian Bonnell's "Scenic Cookery". Curated by John Knechtel.
